Heyo, Planet Builders!

We’ve got some exciting updates for you all today as we continue pushing towards the completion of People Planet Remake! Here’s a sneak peek into what we’ve been working on:

High Contrast Mode

We’ve been focusing on accessibility options, and one of the big features we’re thrilled to introduce is High Contrast Mode. This new option will allow players who have visual impairments or prefer stronger visual separation to toggle a mode where UI elements, text, and in-game objects pop out more distinctly against the background. This not only helps navigation but makes the entire experience smoother for everyone.

The Races: Humans, Elves, Orcs, Gnomes, and Dwarves

Next up, we’ve been working hard to refine the different races you’ll encounter in People Planet Remake. From humans building their bustling cities to elves weaving their enchanted forests, we’re giving each race more depth and unique traits. The orcs are as mighty as ever, and gnomes will bring their cunning tricks into play. We also have the steadfast dwarves, masters of stone and metal, who will make sure you can build those underground kingdoms you’ve always dreamed of. Each race will not only have their own architectural styles and biomes but also new abilities that will set them apart in the world of People Planet.

Weather System & Hurricanes

Weather effects are finally making their way into People Planet! We've started developing dynamic weather systems, and we’re excited to introduce hurricanes as the first major environmental hazard. You’ll have to adapt and rebuild in the wake of these devastating storms, with each weather event affecting the environment and the creatures living in it. This is only the beginning—expect more complex weather systems to follow, impacting how you manage your world and its survival.
